في إطار دعم العلاقات الثقافية وتعزيز الدبلوماسية الثقافية بين مصر وتركيا، أجرى صالح موطلو شن، سفير الجمهورية التركية لدى القاهرة، مشاورات موسعة مع عدد من المعنيين بالحركة المسرحية، تناولت سبل تنشيط التعاون الفني وفتح آفاق جديدة للتبادل الثقافي بين البلدين.
وبحث السفير التركي خلال اللقاءات فرص مشاركة الفنانين من مجموعة مازن بيه في عدد من المهرجانات المسرحية الدولية التي تُقام تحت رعاية وزارة الثقافة والسياحة التركية، وعلى رأسها مهرجانا أضنة وطرابزون الدوليان للمسرح، لما يتمتعان به من مكانة مرموقة ودور بارز في دعم الإبداع المسرحي وتبادل الخبرات الفنية على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي.
كما تناولت المشاورات آليات تعزيز اهتمام الوسط المسرحي التركي بالمشاركة في مهرجان شرم الشيخ الدولي للمسرح، بما يسهم في توسيع نطاق الحضور التركي في هذا الحدث الثقافي الدولي، ويعزز مكانته كمنصة للحوار الثقافي والتفاعل الفني بين مختلف التجارب المسرحية.
وأكد السفير صالح موطلو شن أن المسرح يمثل أحد أهم أدوات التقارب بين الشعوب، مشددًا على أن التعاون الثقافي والفني بين مصر وتركيا يعكس عمق العلاقات التاريخية بين البلدين، ويفتح آفاقًا جديدة لتبادل الخبرات ودعم المواهب الشابة. كما أشار إلى أهمية التنسيق المستمر بين المؤسسات الثقافية في البلدين لضمان مشاركة فاعلة ومستدامة في المهرجانات الدولية.
واختتم السفير التركي اللقاءات بالتأكيد على حرص السفارة التركية بالقاهرة على دعم المبادرات الثقافية المشتركة، معربًا عن تطلعه إلى تحويل هذه المشاورات إلى خطوات عملية تسهم في تنشيط الحركة المسرحية وتعزيز الحضور الدولي للمهرجانات في مصر وتركيا.
Turkish Ambassador in Cairo Discusses Enhancing Theatre Cooperation between Egypt and Türkiye
Within the framework of strengthening cultural relations and promoting cultural diplomacy between Egypt and Türkiye, Saleh Mutlu Şen, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Cairo, held extensive consultations with key figures in the theatre sector to explore ways of enhancing artistic cooperation and expanding cultural exchange between the two countries.
During the meetings, the Turkish Ambassador discussed opportunities for artists from Mazen Bey’s group to participate in international theatre festivals organized under the auspices of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, particularly the Adana and Trabzon International Theatre Festivals, which hold a distinguished position on the international cultural map.
The discussions also addressed mechanisms to increase the engagement of the Turkish theatre community in the Sharm El-Sheikh International Theatre Festival, with the aim of broadening Turkish participation and enriching the festival’s artistic program, further strengthening its role as an international platform for cultural dialogue and creative exchange.
Ambassador Saleh Mutlu Şen emphasized that theatre is one of the most effective tools for fostering mutual understanding between peoples, noting that cultural and artistic cooperation reflects the depth of historical relations between Egypt and Türkiye and opens new horizons for sharing experiences and supporting emerging talents. He also stressed the importance of sustained coordination between cultural institutions in both countries to ensure effective and long-term collaboration.
The Turkish Ambassador concluded the consultations by reaffirming the Embassy of Türkiye in Cairo’s commitment to supporting joint cultural initiatives and expressing his aspiration to translate these discussions into concrete steps that would revitalize the theatre movement and enhance the international presence of theatre festivals in both Egypt and Türkiye.
