بمناسبة الذكرى السنوية لتأسيس جريدة «الأهرام»، التي انطلقت من مدينة الإسكندرية في السابع والعشرين من ديسمبر عام 1875، يسعدني أن أتقدم بخالص التهنئة لهذه المؤسسة الصحفية العريقة، التي لم تكن مجرد صحيفة، بل تحولت عبر تاريخها الممتد إلى مدرسة فكرية ومنبر وطني وثقافي لعب دورًا محوريًا في تشكيل الوعي العام في مصر والعالم العربي.
لقد نجحت «الأهرام» منذ نشأتها في أن تصبح مساحة حقيقية تُناقش فيها الأفكار الكبرى التي تقود مسار التاريخ، وتنضج على صفحاتها الرؤى التي تسهم في صناعة المستقبل، بالتوازي مع دورها الرصين في توثيق تاريخ مصر بمراحله المختلفة، وتسجيل التحولات السياسية والاجتماعية والفكرية التي شهدتها المنطقة.
ولم تكتفِ الأهرام برصد الأحداث، بل شاركت بفاعلية في تفسيرها وتحليلها، بما جعلها مرجعًا موثوقًا للأجيال المتعاقبة من القراء وصناع القرار والباحثين.
وقد تميزت «الأهرام» بدورها المتوازن كصوت للجمهور، يعبر عن تطلعاته وهمومه، وفي الوقت ذاته كمنصة مسئولة تسهم في إعداد المناخ الاجتماعي والفكري اللازم لاتخاذ القرارات السياسية والأعمال الوطنية الكبرى، مستندة إلى المهنية والمصداقية واحترام العقل الجمعي.
هذا الدور المزدوج منحها مكانة استثنائية في المشهد الإعلامي، وجعلها جزءًا أصيلًا من الذاكرة الوطنية المصرية.

On the occasion of the anniversary of Al-Ahram newspaper, founded in Alexandria on December 27, 1875, I am pleased to extend my sincere congratulations to this distinguished journalistic institution, which has transcended the role of a newspaper to become an intellectual school and a national and cultural platform that has played a pivotal role in shaping public awareness in Egypt and the Arab world.
Since its establishment, Al-Ahram has successfully evolved into a space where major ideas that guide the course of history are debated and mature, while simultaneously documenting Egypt’s history and recording the intellectual and political ideas that have shaped pivotal historical moments. Al-Ahram has not merely reported events; it has actively contributed to their interpretation and analysis, establishing itself as a trusted reference for generations of readers, decision-makers, and researchers.
Al-Ahram has also distinguished itself as the voice of the public, expressing societal aspirations and concerns, while at the same time responsibly contributing to the social and intellectual environment necessary for political decision-making and national action.
