”It is an honor to welcome Dr. Dania Arayssi, Program Head and Senior Analyst at the New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy. We highly appreciate your presence and valuable insights today.”
In the world of international affairs and
public policy, true expertise is forged at the intersection of diverse cultures, rigorous academia, and firsthand global experience. This is the inspiring trajectory of a Washington D.C.-based scholar whose journey spans continents, top-tier institutions, and a deep-rooted passion for understanding our interconnected world.
Born and raised in the vibrant, complex heart of Beirut, Lebanon, they began their academic pursuit with a Bachelor’s degree
in International Affairs from the American University of Science and Technology. Driven by a desire to understand the historical currents shaping today’s geopolitics, they followed this with a Master’s degree in the History of International Relations from the prestigious Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
A Global Academic Trajectory
Recognizing their exceptional potential, the University of Denver awarded them a fully funded scholarship, prompting a move to the United States to complete a second Master’s degree—this time in Public Policy. This crucial chapter bridged the gap between theoretical international theory and actionable governance.
The culmination of this extraordinary academic odyssey took place at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they earned both a third Master’s degree and a
Ph.D. in Political Science.
Bridging Knowledge and Policy in Washington D.C.
Today, based in the nation’s capital, Washington D.C., they stand as a uniquely qualified expert. By combining an authentic Middle Eastern perspective with advanced American institutional training, they bring an invaluable, multi-dimensional lens to political analysis, foreign policy, and strategic decision-making.
”Understanding global politics requires more than just reading the news; it demands an intimate knowledge of history, a mastery of policy, and the lived experience of navigating multiple worlds.”
With three Master’s degrees, a Doctorate, and a life split between the diplomatic pulses of Beirut and Washington, this is a profile of a scholar-leader equipped to analyze, influence, and shape the global policies of tomorrow.
